Java is a fictional character featured in the Martin Mystère comics.

Fictional character biography

Java is a Neanderthal Man discovered by Martin Mystère in the hidden "City of Lucid Shadows" while on an expedition to Mongolia. He has superhuman strength and endurance, and shows a heightened sensitivity to both natural and paranormal phenomena. He is extremely faithful to Martin and assists him through his adventures throughout the world.

Appearances in other media

Java is a regular character in the Martin Mystery animated series, which is based upon the Italian comic book. In the series Java, like the other characters, is a teenager, and the source of comic relief.
