Jason Golden (born 6 November 1985 in Rothwell, Leeds, West Yorkshire) is a professional rugby league player for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. He plays as a second row.

Wakefield Wildcats

Jason a product of the Leeds Rhinos junior programme, first began playing rugby with Oulton Raiders and then Hunslet Parkside having been born and brought up in Leeds. On his way to becoming a first team regular for the Wakefield Wildcats Jason spent a season on loan at York before moving to the Wildcats. He made his Super League debut in 2007 for Wakefield, and has been a regular in the side scoring his first try for the against London Skolars in the cup. He has since scored against Hull in April.

Representative

Selected for the under-18 Great Britain Academy team which beat Australia for the first time. Also played for England at under-18 level. He was also a constant fixture in the junior representative teams.

Leeds Rhinos

Whilst part of the Rhinos academy he has helped them on there way to winning the 2003 grand final, scoring a hat-trick. He was a promenate fixture in the senior academy side before been moved out on loan to York City Knights were he was selected in the 2006 NL1 all star team and named players player. He also scored an important winning try in last nights Wakefield V Leeds match, which in all probably will keep Wakefield in super league for another season
