Jamie Richter is an Australian author of Slipstream, technology-themed horror, and dark speculative fiction. Having recently returned to short fiction after concentrating on writing for film and television, Jamie's work has appeared in print magazines such as Ripples Magazine, Twisted Tongue, Skive Magazine, as well as numerous online journals.

Biography

Jamie Richter is an Australian-based author, living in Queensland. Currently working in the software industry, Jamie spends his downtime writing short stories, novels and screenplays. Jamie has been published in both his native country, and other countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States.

Upcoming Projects

Aside from continuing to write short fiction, Jamie is currently in the process of completing his first full-length novel. The novel, currently codenamed "UC", is believed to be based on his screenplay "Unorganised Crime", which he wrote in 2005. The Project Greenlight Australia top 50 screenplay has been described as "Australia's answer to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels". Jamie is aiming to complete the novel by mid-2008.
