Jagadish Gupta (Bengali: জগদীশ গুপ্ত) (1886-1957), was a renowned Bangla writer and poet. He was born in Kushtia, Bengal (now in Bangladesh).

He studied in Kolkata City School and Ripon College.

Works

Jagadish Gupta started his writing career as a poet and later, became a famous short story writer. His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary, higher secondary and graduation level Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
