Jack is a British London-based rock group that recorded and performed in the mid-1990s and into the 2000s. Jack formed in 1992 when singer-songwriter Anthony Reynolds, age 19, joined forces with guitarist Matthew Scott in their hometown of Cardiff, Wales. They moved to London in 1993, and the rest of the band came together by March 1995—including Richard Adderley on guitar, Patrick Pulzer on drums, Colin Williams on bass, and George Wright on keyboards. The band's first London gig soon led to their signing by the Too Pure record label. Their first release was the limited-edition single "Kid Stardust". Violinist Audrey Morse joined the band prior to the recording of their first full-length album, Pioneer Soundtracks, released in 1996.
