Ivanhoé is an 1826 opera in three acts with music by Gioachino Rossini, libretto by Emile Deschamps and Gabriel-Gustave de Wailly, after Walter Scott's novel of the same name. The music was adapted by Antonio Pacini from various Rossini operas in order to introduce his music to Paris. The work was premiered on September 15th, 1826, at the Odéon in Paris. Roles:
