Ishikawa (石川郡; -gun) is a district located in Ishikawa, Japan. Following the Hakusan merger, the district consists of the single municipality of Nonoichi. As of June 2004 population data, the district has an estimated population of 42,760 and a density of 3153 persons per km². The total area is 13.56 km².

On February 1, 2005 the following towns and villages from the district merged with the city of Matto forming the city of Hakusan.
