Infernal is the sixth full-length studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Edge of Sanity, released by Black Mark Productions on February 5, 1997. What is of interest is that the songs can be divided into two categories; on the one hand, those written and performed by Dan Swanö and on the other hand, those written by the rest of the band and with Andreas Axelsson on vocals. Benny Larsson performed the drums on the entire album.

  • Artistic differences between Swanö and Axelson were one of the main things that pushed the band apart, this being their last release as a single cohesive unit.
