Illegal Alien is an upcoming film based on the life of the hip-hop artist Akon.[1][2][3] Akon has stated that the film is "like City of God, Menace II Society and Ray all in one movie."[1][2] Akon has also stated that Mekhi Phifer is set to star as Akon's character.[1][2][3] Akon himself will be producing the musical score for the film.[3]
