"I Do" is a song written by Brian Wilson. Wilson originally produced a version for The Castells. But that record, released through Warner Brothers, never charted. The Beach Boys version of the song was first released on the Surfer Girl/Shut Down Volume 2 two-LP-on-one-CD format. It was recorded on 6 November 1963, between the recording of Little Deuce Coupe and Shut Down Volume 2.
