iD Two (previously iD) was a programming strand on RTÉ Two which ran from 17:00 to 19:00 weekdays, following The Den. It aired between 2002 and 2005. It was targeted at the teenage audience, and served as a container for The Simpsons, Home and Away and other imported programmes. Presented by Laura Woods and Steve Curran, the programme used modern graphics, fast movement between scenes and other ploys to attract and keep young viewers. Some of the traditional segments from The Den of Ray D'Arcy's era, including the astronomical reports from Astronomy Ireland were moved into iD Two. In October 2004, iD was rebranded as iD Two, in line with Network 2 becoming RTÉ Two. The strand aired for the final time on Friday 16 September 2005, with its replacement TTV airing for the first time on Monday 19 September.
