The Hyundai Aero City (hangul:현대 에어로시티) is a heavy-Duty bus built by Hyundai Motor Company. It is primarily available as city and intercity bus. It is distinguishable by a front 'Aero City' badge by Aero City and Super Aero City, but the common Hyundai badge is usually used on the rear. In Japan, Asia-Pacific, Mid-East, Africa, South America, its principal competitors are Hyundai Global 900, Kia AM, Asia AM, Daewoo BS, Daewoo BM.
Models
The Aero City was based on the Mitsubishi Fuso Bus Chassis or later Hyundai Bus Chassis, venture marking by Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Star. The variants of Aero City include:
- Aero City 520/540: A Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Bus venture marking bus, manufacture period in 1991-1994.
- Aero City 520/540/540L/540SL New Model: A Hyundai Bus Chassis original making bus, manufacture period in 1994-2001. L and SL models have slightly lower deck.
- Super Aero City: Available as both Hyundai part design all new models, manufacture period in 2001-2004. Also have L and SL model.
- Super Aero City Non-step Low Rider: A long wheelbase with handycap passenger of non-step bus, manufactured in 2004, and transmission system by Allison and ZF.
