Huntington is a little mining village in the heart of Staffordshire at grid reference SJ973130. It is surrounded by forest and outstanding natural beauty. It is on the boundaries of Cannock Chase, a beautiful stretch of countryside, where many deer roam free. Its a small quaint village full of a rich mining heritage. Huntington has a number of facilities. There are two pubs: "The Littleton Arms" and "The Barns", a Spar newsagent where Tony works, 14 hours a day every day. The Littleton Arms used to be known as coggers. This is where the miners used to go for a drink after work. It has a primary school on the north outskirts, but sadly no secondary school as of yet. The primary school is being relocated on new ground in central Huntington. Where there are also new housing being built.
