Holbrook is a rural village situated close to the northern shore of the Stour estuary in Suffolk, England. Located on the Shotley peninsula and part of Babergh district, it had a population of 2,317 in 2001. To the south of the village is the Royal Hospital School, which moved to this site in 1933 after having been housed at Greenwich Hospital since 1693.

Facilities

The village has two pubs, the Compasses and the Swan, a Co-op and a newsagents as well as a hairdressers, a tea shop and a village hall. There is both a primary and secondary school. Opposite the Co-op is Holbrook Methodist Church and going out of the village towards the Royal Hospital School is the church, All Saints.
