Herschel Savage (born Harvey Cowen on November 25, 1952 to Jewish parents in New York, New York , U.S.) is an American pornographic actor and porn movie director who began his adult film career in 1974.[1] Savage has also launched a fledgling career as a stand up comedian, and appears frequently on the reality TV series Family Business. Herschel is a member of the XRCO[2], Legends of Erotica[3] and AVN[4] Halls of Fame.
