Hermann Geiger (October 27, 1914 - August 26, 1966) was Swiss pilot, rescuer and national hero. He develop art of landing on mountain glaciers. He did above 600 rescue flights, often in extreme hard conditions. Died from injuries from plane-crash. He was known as Eagle from Sion or King of Mountain pilots.
