Heavy Metal: Geomatrix is a fully 3D arena fighting game released in 2001 by Capcom for the Sega NAOMI and Dreamcast, based upon the Heavy Metal license.

Using similar perspective and control scheme to Capcom's Spawn: In the Demon's Hand, the game presents up to 4 players combats in large arenas in what is seen as a follow up to the basics of Capcom's Power Stone series, although more oriented to weapon fighting/shooting and a serious and dark cyberpunk tone because of the Heavy Metal universe setting. Many believed the PAL version of the game was cancelled in 2001, the game was already available for the American audience by the fall of 2001 the games Europe release had disapeared, however Sega handed all remaining releases to be published to Big Ben Interactive who released the game in Europe in April 2002 it is widely agreed that the cover art for the PAL version like Capcoms other late release, Cannon Spike was far below the quality of other titles from the era most notibly Evil Twin Cypriens Chronicles. Conflict Zone also suffered from low quality cover art, this is easy to notice by the "Dreamcast banner" at the top of the art being of a inconsistent size. The game is still very easy to find in Europe brand new, and can be found for as little as £10.
