The settlement of Harrington Point lies within the boundaries of the city of Dunedin, New Zealand. It is located at the northeastern end of Otago Peninsula, close to the entrance of Otago Harbour.

Overview

Harrington Point is located close to Taiaroa Head, the site of an albatross colony and other wildlife such as seals and penguins. Harrington Point is located near 'Te Rauone' beach, historically known for its many sand dunes which have eroded. Between Harrington Point and Taiaroa Head is Pilot's Beach, where penguins are seen returning to nest at dusk.
