Past and future in Hangu

Now, the village has a great potential for development, especially in tourism industry, a running water system provided by Sapard funds, but there are a lot to be done in infrastructure and environment protection. The area of comuna Hangu is home to many ethnographic treasures which are preserved by local traditions or through the local cultural association which publishes a monthly magazine called Ţara Hangului - the country of Hangu which is an area larger than the actual Hangu department including Ceahlau area.
