Hana (Hana Yori mo Naho - 花よりもなほ) is a 2006 Japanese black comedy by director Hirokazu Koreeda. It concerns a young samurai, Sozaemon (Junichi Okada), who has come from Matsumoto to Edo to take his revenge against his father's killer and the toll this takes on him and his family. Making up the backdrop of the film are the other characters in the slum. The children, the landlord, the group putting on a play, and a small group of samurai, members of the The 47 Ronin, who are hiding out before the attack of Kira Yoshinaka's mansion.
