Hadfield is a small residential town in High Peak, Derbyshire, England and within the sphere of influence of Greater Manchester. The town is on the west side of the Peak District, and is a residential area/town next to Glossop with many local amenities and services being based in Glossop.

The town has a railway station on the electrified line to Glossop and Manchester Piccadilly, and is just off the A628 road, linking Manchester with Barnsley and Sheffield. The railway, known as the Woodhead Line, used to run through to Penistone and Sheffield via the Woodhead Tunnel but passenger services were withdrawn in 1970. Freight trains ran until 1981, after which Hadfield became the terminus of the line. Hadfield is popular with walkers especially during the summer months and the Longdendale Trail which runs along the Longdendale valley to Woodhead Tunnel starts in Hadfield and runs along the trackbed of the former Woodhead line. The television series The League of Gentlemen was filmed in Hadfield.
