Ten ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Wasp:
- The first Wasp, launched in 1749, was a 8-gun sloop, sold in 1781.
- The second Wasp, launched in 1780, was a 16-gun brig-sloop, used as a fireship in 1798, and expended in 1800.
- The third Wasp, originally a French 16-gun cutter called Espion, captured in 1782, sold in 1784.
- The fourth Wasp, purchased in 1794 from the Dutch, was a 4-gun gunvessel, sold in 1801.
- The fifth Wasp, originally a French 14-gun sloop, captured in 1800 and sold in 1811.
- The sixth Wasp, launched in 1812, was a Cruizer class 18-gun brig-sloop, broken up in 1847.
- The seventh Wasp, launched in 1850, was a Wood screw sloop, sold in 1869.
- The eighth Wasp, launched in 1880 was a Composite screw gunboat, wrecked in 1884 and finally sold in 1910.
- The ninth Wasp, launched in 1884 was a Torpedo boat, sold circa 1906.
- The tenth Wasp, launched in 1886 was a Composite screw gunboat that foundered 1887 after leaving Singapore
