Seven ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Arab:

  • The first Arab was a 16-gun sloop-of-war, originally the French Jean Bart, captured in 1795 in the English Channel by Cerberus and Santa Margarita, and wrecked in 1796.
  • The second Arab was an 8-gun schooner, originally the French Arabe, captured in 1797, and renamed Ant in 1798.
  • The third Arab was a 22-gun sixth-rate, originally the French Brave, captured in 1798 by Phoenix and sold in 1810.
  • The fourth Arab was an 18-gun Cruizer-class brig-sloop launched in 1812 and wrecked in 1823 off Ireland near Belmullet.
  • The fifth Arab was a 16-gun brig-sloop launched in 1847 and broken up in 1879.
  • The sixth Arab was a screw-propelled sloop, launched in 1874 and sold in 1889.
  • The seventh Arab was a destroyer launched in 1901. She served in World War I and was sold in 1919.
