Guy Andre Hebert (born January 7, 1967 in Troy, New York) is a former professional ice hockey goaltender. Always a proud American, he used the French pronunciation of his first and last names because it "sounded better." He played for the St. Louis Blues, Anaheim Mighty Ducks and New York Rangers.

NHL career

Guy Hebert was drafted by St. Louis in 1987, when he was a sophomore at Hamilton College. Hebert played in the minors, for the Peoria Rivermen, until he was called up to the St. Louis Blues in December 1991. Hebert was the first pick of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 1993 NHL Expansion Draft, and he played there until midway through the 2000-01 NHL season, making him the last of the original Ducks with the team, after which he was traded to the New York Rangers. He retired in 2001.
