Gupta Technologies, LLC is a software development company. Their principle products are the SQL relational database SQLBase, and a Rapid application development system called Team Developer. The company was founded in 1984 by Umang Gupta, a former manager at Oracle Corporation. They changed the name to Centura Software in the late 1990s, and have since changed it back. [1] Centura Software filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in August of 2001. The SEC revoked the registration of Centura's common stock in December of 2004 [2]. , and Gupta Technologies LLC was acquired by Unify Corporation in September, 2006. Its headquarters was in Redwood Shores, California. SQLBase is targeted towards small PC applications and handheld devices such as handheld PCs and cell phones.
