Grade was a Canadian hardcore group. Grade's first showing was the Grade/Believe split released in 1994 on a small Canadian label called Workshop Records. Separate the Magnets was released in 1998, and gained notice touring with groups such as Jimmy Eat World and Fugazi. In 1999 they signed with Victory Records and released an EP, Triumph and Tragedy. Later that same year they released a full length album, Under the Radar. In 2000, they released The Embarrassing Beginning, a collection of their older works, as well as And Such Is Progress. In 2001, they replaced their original guitarist, Greg Taylor, with Brad Casarin, and replaced their original drummer, Chris Danner, with Charlie Moniz and released the album Headfirst Straight to Hell. The band broke up in 2002, although they have played several reunion shows, but only one had their famous Under the Radar lineup, and that was in June 2006.
