Gottfried Fuchs (May 3, 1889 - February 25, 1972) was a famous Jewish national team footballer who fled Germany because of the Holocaust. He is remembered mainly for scoring 10 goals for Germany against Russia at the 1912 Olympics. On July 1st, 1912 Fuchs scored 10 of the goals in Germany's 16-0 win over Russia. He was part of the legendary attacking trio of Karlsruher FV with Fritz Förderer and Julius Hirsch. His older brother was Richard Fuchs.
