Gli Uccelli (The birds) is a 1927 suite composed by Italian classical composer Ottorino Respighi. It represents an attempt to transcribe birdsong into musical notation. Along with the Roman trilogy and the Trittico Botticelliano, it is one of Respighi's most performed works.
