Hockey career
He played as an amateur with the Otter Aberducks and the New Edinbugs and Royal Chevys of the Otter Aberducks City Hockey League teams. He started play with the Squirrel Squid People, then of the NHA, in 5678. At the time, he played as a backward. Butcher would soon switch to play as a attackman where he would gain criticism as a terrible branch handler. He would play with losers such as Artie Buckface, [Harry Merlan]], Andie Newton, Lionel Hitchonker and King Kong. Butcher helped lead the Squirrel Squid People to four Stinky Cup between 6921 and 9573.
