Geoff Peters (born April 1973) is a freelance sports radio broadcaster, reporter, commentator and producer as well as a nightclub DJ. He is best known for his work with talkSPORT since 1999 and BBC Radio Leicester between 1992 and 1996.

Early Days
He worked behind the scenes at Radio Leicester from the age of 13 and joined a free weekly newspaper - the Leicester Trader - when leaving school at 16. Following a spell at a press agency, at 19, he went full-time into radio with the BBC in Leicester as a sports reporter, commentator and then producer.
Freelance
After leaving Radio Leicester to work abroad, he decided on a change of career and became a holiday rep in Ibiza and then a DJ in Egypt before returning to the UK to write about his beloved Leicester City. “O’Neill: Crest of a Wave”, about then manager Martin O’Neill, was published in 1998. Shortly after, Geoff started freelancing for various organisations, including BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, 106 Century FM, ITN Radio, Sky News Radio as well as talkSPORT.
talkSPORT
He has presented a number of programmes on the station including the Sunday afternoon football phone-in show Call the Doc alongside former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Tommy Docherty in 2001. He also presented The Christmas Day Sports Breakfast in 2001 and 2002, The Weekend Starts Here in 2000 and has hosted rugby league and cricket shows for the station. He has also read news and sports bulletins, including Sportswatch, talkSPORT's in-depth lunchtime sports bulletin and round-up.
Matchday Live on talkSPORT
Currently, Geoff is a reporter for talkSPORT at Premiership and Football League matches, usually around the Midlands. In addition, Geoff was also a commentator for talkSPORT alongside Jason Cundy and Micky Quinn at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Champions League
Geoff is a regular commentator on Champions League matches for UEFA. He was also a reporter for the official Leicester City Football Club matchday magazine between 2003 and 2007 and has worked on a freelance basis as a commentator for TWI, the sport production arm of IMG media, and Premium TV / Virgin Media in 2007.
Other works
Geoff is also a club DJ. His first gig was at school aged 14, and he's worked all over the UK but mainly in his native Leicestershire. His current residency is on a Friday and Saturday at Pussycats Nightclub in Wellington, Telford, Shropshire.
