Gemini is a Tamil language film which was released in 2002. It was directed by successful director, Saran and it was produced by the AVM company headed by M. S. Guhan and M. Saravanan. The film starred Vikram and Kiran Rathod in the lead roles with Kalabhavan Mani and Charlie in supporting roles. The film is to be dubbed and released in Hindi as ANGAAR - The Deadly One this year (2007).
Plot
The story of Gemini revolves between Gemini(VIkram)and Teja (Kalabhavan Mani), two contemporary criminals. Gemini's friend is murdered by teja's friend. Then what else can happen Gemini and his group find the person who killed his friend and kills him. Meanwhile Gemini meets Manisha(Kiran), of course love at first sight. To gain her reciprocation he goes to study in an evening college as her classmate. Gemini and Teja clash again for a market holdout. Using his brilliant tactics Gemini fools Teja which drives him crazy. In the mean time New Police DGP, Singapermual comes to the town. He arrests both Gemini and Teja. Understanding their rivalry, DGP puts them in a single private cell. But Gemini convinces Teja to plead the DGP to give a chance to lead a normal life. Gemini's trick works and they are given a chance. Here Gemini changes his life but Teja did not change his life. Teja disturbs Gemini and urges him to help him in his business. But Gemini informs about Teja and his activities to DGP. So Teja is now in Jail. Here Gemini tries to reunite with Manisha as he had changed now and eventually she does forgive him. After some months the DGP is transferred and New DGP (Vinu Chakravarthy) arrives and to Gemini's bad luck he is corrupted and he joins with Teja also. Now Teja forces Gemini to return to his business. Then in Climax Gemini Tricks the New DGP and makes him to kill Teja.
