Career

ECW

After breaking his neck in a match with Shane Douglas, a lengthy feud occurred between Douglas and Gary Wolfe's partner, Anthony Durante, while Wolfe recovered from his injury. Gary Wolfe can be seen on Forever Hardcore, where he talks about how he broke his neck. He said that after he broke his neck he went back stage and tried to click it back into place not knowing it was broken and is lucky to be walking today. The Pitbulls won the ECW Tag Team Championship on September 16 1995 from Raven and Stevie Richards, due to interference from their manager, Francine. One month later they would lose the titles back to Raven and Richards. At Cyberslam '96 Francine and the Pitbulls defeated The Eliminators and Stevie Richards in a Dog Collar Match when Fournier pinned Richards after Richards was Superbombed by the Pitbulls. On July 13 1996 at Heat Wave, Francine turned on The Pitbulls and became the manager of Shane Douglas, who she twice helped become ECW World Heavyweight Champion. Wolfe appeared at WWE's ECW One Night Stand 2005 to introduce the "ECW Remembers" video honoring "extreme" wrestlers who had died. His own partner Anthony Durante, died on September 25 2003, from a homemade oxycontin overdose.[1]

After ECW

Wolfe now appears regularly for Tod Gordon's Pro Wrestling Unplugged promotion as 'The Pitbull' Gary Wolfe, recently winning the honor of representing the company in the King of Europe Cup 2007. He also made many appearances in 3PW, during his time there winning both their Heavyweight Championship (being first to do so), and their Tag Team Championship, with Mike Kruel. Recently, he's been making appearances in Pro Wrestling Unplugged leading a group called Team PIT featuring wrestlers, Aramis and former Women's Champion, Annie Social.
