The Gainsborough Estate is an urban priority area council housing estate on the South East side of Ipswich in the English county of Suffolk. Ipswich Borough Council also sell on the estate for as little as £55,000 for a 2 bedroom semi with front and back garden. Nacton, Suffolk, near the Gainsborough estate is where the 19th Century Suffolk heroine Margaret Catchpole was born born.
