General information
Having her entire Takarazuka career in Snow Troupe, she is the second top star partner of legend Mari Hanafusa and is most remembered by two roles: Franz Joseph (the first of Takarazuka to be in this role) and Viscount Valmont of Kamen no Romanesque (The Takarazuka's adoptation of Dangerous Liaisons). One of the interesting points is that she is a relative by marriage of another former Takarazuka actress, Maho Shiomi, who was also in the same troupe (The younger sister of Takane married to the elder brother of Shiomi in 1995). Shiomi, who was eight years junior than her, understudied a couple roles of Takane in her own new actor performances (one of them is Franz Joseph). After she resigned from the company, she got the role of Victoria Grant of Victor/Victoria as the start of her post Takarazuka career. Her career is mostly focused on stage, but she also makes occasional TV appearances. Like some of the old girls from Takarazuka (e.g., Yōka Wao, who was with her in Snow Troupe during the 1990s), she is considered as an independent artist.
