Franck Chevalier (b. 1973) graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in 1996 with a First Prize in Viola and became a member of the Orchestre National de France in the same year. He is violist in the Diotima String Quartet (Quatuor Diotima) which is based in Paris. As a soloist he gave the first performance of Nigel Keay's Viola Concerto1 in 2001.
