Fleming McWilliams is a singer and songwriter who is best known for being half of the husband and wife rock and roll duo, Fleming and John. McWilliams' husband is musician John Mark Painter, whom she married in August 1991. McWilliams (along with drummer/brother Shawn McWilliams), grew up in East Prairie, Missouri where she was crowned "Miss Sweet Corn," and singing locally whenever and wherever she could. McWilliams met Painter while attending Belmont University in Nashville, and immediately began collaborating on songs.
