Fireflies is the sixth album by country artist and Grammy award winning Faith Hill. The long anticipated album was released on August 2 2005 which would make it nearly three years after the release of her fifth album, Cry. In its first week, the album sold 329,000 copies, making it the #1 album on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums chart. "Fireflies" is her third #1 album. It has since gone 2X Platinum. The record is a come back to country music for Faith. On charts, it has shown longevity: in its 100th week on chart, the album was still at #12 on the Country Album Chart.
