Ferdinand Coly (born 10 September, 1973 in Dakar) is a Senegalese footballer, who currently plays for Parma in Italy. Coly played in all of Senegal's matches in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. After impressing at the tournament, he moved from Lens to Birmingham City on loan. But this proved to be a poor career move as his sole Premiership appearance came against Arsenal. Coly then moved on to Perugia. In his first season, 2003/04, with the Italian club he made 11 appearances but never really impressed. In the 2004/05 season he spent the season in the Perugia B team, making 22 appearances and scoring a goal. In the summer of 2005 he finally made the move to Serie A side Parma with his agent players FIFA Christian Payan .
