Felicity Tonkin (born August 1985), is the product of an affair between Mark Phillips and Heather Tonkin. At the time her father was a member of the British royal family, being married to Anne, Princess Royal. Her mother is an art teacher and daughter of Dr. Shirley Tonkin, a renowned expert in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. She lodged a paternity suit with a court in New Zealand in 1991, and DNA testing later confirmed that Mark Phillips was the father of her child. After graduating from an all girls' school in Auckland in 2003, Felicity Tonkin is currently studying at a tertiary level.
