Fable is a British television series shown in 1965 based in a parallel Britain in which the ruling class consists of black people, and white people are the social underdogs - a reversal of the actual situation at the time. The show's original debut was postponed by the BBC, supposedly to avoid influencing an election. The show was a precurser for movies like White Man's Burden.
