The Fk 14 Polaris is a light-sport aircraft of composite construction first produced in Germany in the late 1990s. It is a two-seat low-wing monoplane of conventional design with fixed undercarriage in either tricycle or tailwheel configuration. A distinguishing feature are the Polaris' winglets. It is available both in factory-built or kit form. At Airventure 2007, Cirrus Design announced that they will be marketing a variant as the Cirrus SR Sport, also known as the Cirrus SRS, with first deliveries expected in approximately one year.[1]
