FEMSA Cerveja Brasil (formerly known as Cervejarias Kaiser Brasil) is a South American brewery founded in 1982 in Brazil. It is owned by FEMSA.

Brief details

Cervejarias Kaiser was founded in 1982. By 2005 it had 8.7% of the market share in Brazil. The brand was bought by Molson in 2002. On January 16 2006 it was announced that FEMSA Cerveza would acquire 68% of Kaiser. Following the sale to FEMSA, Molson will retain 15% of the company along with a seat on the board.[1]

Beers

The company brews a range of lagers under the brand names Bavaria, Kaiser and Sol. The most popular beers are Xingu, Palma Louca and Bavaria Pilsen.
