Professor Evgeny Oscarovich Paton (5 March 1870 - 12 July 1953) (Ukrainian: Євген Оскарович Патон, Yevhen Oskarovych Paton,Russian: Евгений Оскарович Патон, Yevgeniy Oskarovich Paton) was a Soviet Ukrainian engineer who established the E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute in Kiev. He was the father of Borys Paton.
