Eric De Kuyper (2 September 1942, Brussels) is a Belgian experimental film director and writer. He is a fan of melodrama and love songs, and specialises in silent films in the style of Alfred Machin and Yevgeni Bauer. The central topic of his films is homosexuality. He collaborated in the writing of La Captive (The Captive) (2000) and Demain on déménage (Tomorrow We Move) (2004) with Chantal Akerman.
