Epcot is a theme park located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Here is a list of the current attractions found therein, arranged by "land" and with brief descriptions. Please note that parades, restaurants, shops, and character meets will not be listed in this article. The term "attractions" is used by Disney as a catch-all term for rides, shows, and exhibits. When possible, please see each attraction's individual page for additional information.

Current Future World attractions

  • Innoventions, located in two pavilions (aptly named Innoventions East and Innoventions West), houses hands-on exhibitions from various science-and-technology oriented companies.
  • Test Track (Sponsored by General Motors) is a high-speed ride that takes guests through an automotive factory's testing grounds.
  • The Odyssey Restaurant in Showcase Plaza. Used for conferences, and previously a fast-food location.

Past Future World attractions

  • CommuniCore (1982 - 1994), the pavilions were renamed to Innoventions in 1994 and everything inside was changed. In 2007 all signage was changed to a new Innoventions logo after the previous.
  • Horizons (1983 - 1999) Guests visiting the pavilion were told "If we can dream it, we can do it." With its look into how the future could be, Horizons has been called a sequel to Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Horizons closed on January 9, 1999. It was torn down and replaced by Mission: Space.
  • Imagination
    • Journey Into Imagination (1983 - 1998), a ride that encouraged guests to use their imagination, as led by the characters Dreamfinder and Figment.
    • ImageWorks (1982 - 1998), the original ImageWorks was set up on the second floor of the Imagination pavilion. It was described as a "Creative Playground Of The Future" for guests to explore. The section was closed along with the original "Journey Into Imagination" ride in 1998, and was never re-opened. The entire upstairs section remains closed, however some of the ImageWorks equipment is still in place. During the testing of the Kim Possible "Kimmunicator" game, guests were able to see many remnants of this area. It may be removed if that game is finalized in that area. As the testing of that game is now finished, guests can only see the area by taking the Future World behind the scenes tour. ImageWorks exhibits:
      • Dreamfinder's School of Drama - Using a green screen, guests put themselves into a movie under the direction of Dreamfinder. Choices were a western, a fantasy film, or a science fiction film.

  • Journey Into Your Imagination (1999 - 2001), this version of the ride removed Dreamfinder and downplayed Figment's role. The ride was more closely tied to the film Honey, I Shrunk the Audience (which played in the pavilion's theater), by re-themeing the ride as a trip to the Imagination Institute and casting Eric Idle as his character from the 3D film.
  • The Living Seas (1986 - 2006), was changed dramatically after the 2006 rehab. The queue, Hydrolators, The Seas film and Seacab ride were removed for a theme based on Finding Nemo, and the attraction renamed The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
  • The Land
    • Kitchen Kabaret (1982 - 1994), an audio-animatronic show about eating healthy.
