Enoch J. Rector (October 9, 1863 [1]January 26, 1957) was an American boxing film promoter, and a cinema technician who was a partner in the Kinetoscope Exhibition Company. He was born near Parkersburg, West Virginia in 1862. He later attended the University of West Virginia. [2] He married Jessie Fremont (1871-1957), a designer of glass furniture. [3] Jessica had a sister, Anne Leach (1860-1952), a write for the New York Times. [4] He had a daughter, Ann Elizabeth Rector (1899-1970) who was married to Edmund Duffy. [2] [5] [6]
