Emerald Princess is a Grand Class cruise ship for Princess Cruises that entered service in April 2007. Her sister ships include Caribbean Princess and Crown Princess. She features two nightclubs, a piazza style atrium, multiple pools and hot tubs, a spa, and a gym. Unlike her sisters, Emerald Princess does not have a disco overhanging the stern, but the same stern as her near-sisters Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess.

Amenities
Amenities onboard include a basketball court and the Princess's innovative "Movies Under The Stars" theater. The ship also features an enlarged fitness area, multiple pools, an ice cream and pizza bar, the traditional "lido" restaurant, several lounges and bars, a full sized show theater, the popular nightclub Skywalkers, a new club (details not fully available), a cafe, and a casino.
Restaurants
The restaurant choices onboard remain quite similar to both the Caribbean and Crown Princess. The restaurants are split, with the traditional restaurants on the lower decks while the restaurant Sabatini's has been expanded and relocated to a higher deck. The layout of the restaurants is designed to be easy to follow, and all three of the traditional restaurants honor Princess's Personal Choice Dining, a program that allows passengers to choose where and when they want to dine. As alternatives to traditional dining, one can opt to dine at a "specialty" restaurant, however they carry a cover charge and often require reservations.
