Stirling is an Electoral district of Western Australia. As in other districts, the Stirling district elects a single person to the Western Australian Legislative Assembly. The elected person is then known as the Member for Stirling, and is said to hold the seat of Stirling. As of 2005, the Member for Stirling is Terry Redman who holds the seat for the National Party by a margin of 7.0%. The seat in 2009 is expected to be retained by the National Party.

South Coast rural electorate surrounding (but not including) the city of Albany. Major population centres include the areas around Albany, as well as Denmark, Mount Barker, Walpole and Cranbrook. The electorate covers 16,105 km².
History
A peculiar result in 2001, when the National Party polled 37.3% of the primary vote, but four other candidates polled between 10 and 20 percent. After the distribution of preferences, there was an 11.7% swing against the National Party, but they retained the seat with a margin of 12.4%
