Ed's Night Party, now titled Ed & Red's Night Party, is a Canadian talk show that airs Friday nights on Citytv. It is hosted by Ed the Sock, a grumpy, cigar-chomping, insult-hurling sock puppet.

Originally produced by Rogers Television in Toronto (the same TV entity that gave birth to The Tom Green Show in Ottawa), the series was syndicated across Canada in the early 1990s. Ed's profile was raised even higher with a series of specials and appearances on the national music video channel MuchMusic. The series was taken off the air in Alberta and other parts of the country after the show aired a comedy sequence in which Ed is shown supposedly having sex with a Playboy playmate, even though the program was being broadcast in a late night timeslot. The show has since made a return to its late-night slot in Alberta. Recently, the show has been put on G4 (TV channel), as part of their new Midnight Spank, late night television programming block, the first time seen on television in the United States. It is also currently seen on Australian Television via The Comedy Channel. Ed the Sock was allegedly the inspiration for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, who made his debut on Late Night with Conan O'Brien only three months after the Ed's Night Party producers' first attempt at getting on the air in the US. Ed is also a fan of The Special newsmagazine and enjoys using bits of it in his routine.
