Game

East India Company is currently being developed by Nitro Games and is set for release somewhere around 2008. In the game, you take on the role of the Governor Director of the East Indies. Your Task is to conquer the East Indies so that you will have a trade empire to rule over all others. The game features real-time naval combat when enemy ships engage your fleets and real-time land combat when the enemy tries to invade one of your colonies. East India Company combines trading, naval warfare, and management in a new, creative, and interesting way. You can create a fleet to conquer the enemy with powerful warships and privateers.

Features

There are eight playable nations to choose from: England, France, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Spain. Accomplish tasks given by the company or the crown.

Ships

Ship classes include the schooner, the sloop, the brigatine, the east indiaman, the frigate, and the ship of the line.
